PLENARY I: SEATTLE'S GLOBAL HEALTH ECOSYSTEM
Over the last 40 years, an amazing variety of organizations have come together to create a vibrant global health ecosystem in Seattle. Encompassing foundations, non-profits, for-profit, governmental and educational actors, these organzations have driven technological innovation, disseminated practices, changed governmental policies, and impacted tens of millions of lives around the globe. This plenary session brings together representatives from global health organizations to discuss the unique ecosystem and set of partnerships that have been created.

PLENARY II: LABOR MARKET INSITUTIONS FOR THE GIG ECONOMY
Seattle has been on the forefront of protests and action aimed at restructuring labor market institutions to accommodate newly-emerging, nontraditional employment relationships. This plenary brings together management and labor-side representatives as well as policy makers to discuss the impetus for and effectiveness of these reforms as well as potential lessons for others seeking to improve the performance of their local labor markets in the wake of the "gig" economy.
